Photo of the Week – Three Years Old

This past week we celebrated Ceara’s third birthday. Our friends have a farm and three horses, and Ceara rode two of them: a little brown pony named Brownie (pictured here) and a big black Arabian named Montenegro, or Monte for short. This picture captures the pure joy Ceara has for horses and it reflects the pure joy with which God blessed us through her life.

Photo of the Week – A Final Sunday at Cornerstone

Yesterday we led worship for our last time at Cornerstone UMC. We celebrated with the congregation as we acknowledged the sadness of goodbyes and rejoiced in the prospect of what lies ahead. We recounted God’s faithfulness in our lives, which bolstered our rejoicing. We do not know what lay ahead for Cornerstone nor for our lives, yet we do know that God who calls, invites, leads, and provides will be faithful to all of us as we go forth.
The two pictures are of Cornerstone and a close-up of the sign.

Photo of the Week – Flowers at the Nubble Lighthouse

After moving some boxes this past week I took a trip down to York to introduce our friend, Tom (who helped us move boxes and furniture), to Brown’s Ice Cream. We took our cones to Nubble Lighthouse to enjoy the sun, scene, and surf.
