Two weeks ago I had the privilege to spend time with some United Methodist conference leaders in Oklahoma City. One evening we ventured to the memorial for the 1995 OKC bombing. So many thoughts I didn’t write down about the time walking around the site. Yet, in brief, while not every place has the ability to commemorate lives stolen by atrocities, this place reminds people that life is sacred. All life is sacred in all parts of the world – Oklahoma City, Omagh, and all over the world.
