Photo of the Week – Warby Parker glasses

20130127-202955.jpg
I have needed new glasses for a while, yet I dislike the whole experience of trying on a dozen frames that are ugly and spending $250 on lenses with special coating…
The other day a friend mentioned Warby Parker to me: a company that has sweet frame&lens packages for $95, PLUS for every pair they sell the donate to agencies that work around the world to provide glasses to people who cannot afford to see a doctor or get glasses on their own. I don’t remember any other glasses shopping experience being so simple, fun, and stress-free.
Check them out here.

Photo of the Week – Live Oak Wonder

The “live oaks”captivated me this past weekend in Florida. The aged trees stretch lengthy limbs outward, which they hover just above the ground and then start growing upward again.

It’s difficult to catch this in a photo from a phone, but I tried.

Photo of the Week – A New Year Hike

Thankful for a Christmas visit from Courtney’s parents and brother, Todd, who happened to make a photo of the four of us together. What a fun day of hiking.
