Photo of the Week – a video of C and C at Beach

We took the kids across the street this afternoon – clear and sunny, yet the wind keeps things on the chilly side. This didn’t matter to the kids who had fun just playing. It isn’t a long video, yet enough just to watch them play.

Photo of the Week: Classic Caleb Captured

Caleb got super excited when we said the word “Beach” in the car last week. So, when we got home I took him across the street to run around on the sand and to watch the sunset.
The expression on his face in this photo captures almost everything about our 18-month-old bundle of joy.
We hope you enjoy it!

Photo of the Week – thanksgiving and the beach

We spent the first part of Thanksgiving in Plymouth with some of Dan’s cousins. Uncle Jason gave Ceara her first real soccer ball, and Caleb loved the mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any really good pictures. On Thanksgiving night we drove to our friends’ house in Kittery. We spent a relaxing Friday together and then headed out to the beach so the kids could collect shells. We couldn’t get the four of us to look in the same direction at the same time, but we like this photo anyway. We hope you do too.

A Sabbath Day

We observe Friday as our day of rest, rejuvenation, and rejoicing. Today marks the first one in the rental we have for this winter (September to mid-June). When the landlady heard that Courtney served a church in the area she gave us a good deal on rent – about the same as we paid at our other apartment.
As I listened to the waves outside, I decided to take a short video and post it – hoping to convey a bit of the peacefulness we have already experienced in the past 24 hours and hope to experience these next few months.
